foobar2000

Kernel Streaming support

By: Peter

Allows bit-exact playback bypassing Windows kernel mixer. Activated through playback / output preferences page (device list). Warning: this component is experimental and provided for testing only; it is known to cause stability issues on certain configurations. If you experience any problems while using it, please revert to regular output modes ("Primary Sound Driver" etc).

This component was originally meant for old foobar2000 versions under Windows XP and will not work as intended on anything modern. The functionality is now built-in since foobar2000 v1.6.

Current version: 1.2.2, released on 2006-08-04

Supported processor architecture: x86 32-bit.

Works with foobar2000 v1.0 and newer
