Advanced Visualization Studio (AVS) is a music visualization plugin for Winamp. It was designed by Winamp creator Justin Frankel. It renders using DirectDraw.

- Supports ".avs" files.
- Supports ".ape" files (x86 only).
- Includes AVS Editor and configuration dialog.
- Implements preset switching through the mouse context menu and keyboard shortcuts.
- Compatible with the Default User Interface (Default UI) and the Columns User Interface (Columns UI).
- Tested on foobar2000 v2.25.10 (x86 64-bit) and Microsoft Windows 11 (Build 26200).
- Requires Windows 10 or later.
- Install the component using the "foo_vis_avs.fb2k-component" file that can be downloaded from this page.
- Place presets into this component's folder of foobar2000. This should be "<foobar2000 profile folder>\avs". They can be organized into subdirectories.
- Also place APE files into this component's folder of foobar2000. Alternatively, "<foobar2000 profile folder>\avs\apes" is also supported.
- More presets can be downloaded from visbot. Or create your own using the included AVS editor.
